RaySA can offer the customer the service of converting AC plants to DC units, or optimising current furnace units in operation to higher efficiencies of operations. A point in case is where RaySA installed deflecting magnets on improperly designed DC plant whereby the refractory life was extended by 250%.

The retrofitting of old plants with new control systems allow the customer to rejuvenate old technologies with the latest in control systems and higher furnace operations with minimal cost.

The new technologies will allow the customer the ability to select many differing control and operating regimes to allow the flexibility of having the optimum operating parameters for any specific melting or smelting requirements.
